The American Conger (''Conger oceanicus'') is a species of eel in the Congridae family. It is a dark gray-green, with tiny rusty-red speckles. It’s about 6-and-a-half feet long, and weighs about 89 lbs. It is a truly beautiful fish, but if you want to know a nicer one, read the description of my other article of the Peppered Goby. They are also gray, brown, black, steel-blue, reddish-brown and olive-green. |
