Algunos ejemplos: [[Jordi Alba]], [[Alejandro Campano]], [[Daniel Estrada Agirrezabalaga|Daniel Estrada]], [[Francis (footballer)|Francis]], [[Ignacio Pérez Santamaría|Nacho]], [[Juan Valera Espín|Juan Valera]] u [[Fernando Varela Ramos|Fernando Varela]] jugaron varias temporadas como medios, y ahora son más defensas que medios. Pero las dos posiciones son válidas OK? Nacho es el único de los cuatro que ha jugado exclusivamente como lateral en las últimas dos temporadas, los otros NO. [[Manuel Ortiz Toribio|Lolo]] viene jugando TODA su carrera como medio defensivo y defensa central, así que déjalo como está.
