The 2012–13 season will be Manchester United's 21st season in the Premier League, and their 38th consecutive season in the top-flight of English football.

United will begin the season by contesting the Premier League and will be aiming for an unprecedented 20th League title this season.

In Europe, United will be competing in the Champions League for a 17th successive season, and will be hoping for a fourth triumph, in what would be their fourth final in just six seasons.

As well as this, they will also compete in the two domestic cups, the FA Cup and the League Cup, receiving their customary bye to the Third Round of both tournaments.

Pre-season and friendlies

Manchester United will preced their 2012–13 campaign with a tour to Norway for the first time since 2002. They will play Vålerenga on 5 August 2012 in Oslo.[1]
