Kevi Rite Jaish (Template:Lang-gu, Template:Lang-en) is a 2012 film about one family wanting to immigrate to US directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Nayan Jain starring Divyang Thakker and shot entirely in Ahmedabad. The movie is shot with Red Camera first time in India for regional films.
Plot
The film is a satire on the obsession of the Patels, a Gujarati community, of migrating to the USA. Over the last half a century lakhs of Patels have migrated to the USA and have come to dominate its motel industry. The story revolves around one of such Patel family and its uncounted tries to immigrate to United States.

Production
Divyang Thakkar, the protagonist of the film, has mentioned it as "natural progression to do a local film, rather than try" his "luck in a Bollywood film immediately."[1] The producers of the movie have claimed the use of red camera as the "first in the regional cinema in India".[2] Makers of the film have mentioned that it'll be "refreshing movie for young Gujarati crowd. This movie promises to change the face of Gujarati cinema. It is set to fire up the young crowd of Gujarat." [3]
Soundtrack
Mr Suraj Jagan has recorded a rock song called "Pankhida re udi jajo America re..." Kevi Rite Jaish is all set to feature songs sung by Roop Kumar Rathod, Suraj Jagan, Parthiv Gohil, Mehul Surti, Aishwarya Majmudar, Aman Lekhadia and Vishvesh Parmar[4] for the film.[5]
Release
On April 28th, the official poster for the film was released.[6] The first trailer was released online on May 2, 2012 and was received positively.[7]
