Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi (Template:Lang-ar) (born 1945, in Karbala, Iraq) is a Grand Iraqi Jurist marja, and the author of over 400 religious books. Ayatullah Modarresi is the founder of tens of religious organizations, seminaries, institutions and establishments. Currently Ayatullah Modarresi oversees the Shiia seminary in Karbala.
