Representing Northern Illinois University, the 2012 Northern Illinois Huskies football team compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The Huskies compete in the West Division of the MAC. The head coach for the 2012 season is Dave Doeren; this will be his second year as the head coach of the Huskies.
