Ali Haj Hammoud is a former Syrian intelligence officer who served as minister of interior.
Career
Hammoud was an intelligence officer served in West Beirut.[1] During his term in Lebanon, he had close ties with Emile Lahoud.[2] He served as interior minister until 2004 when replaced by Ghazi Kanaan.[3]
