The ship is introduced after the departure of [[Pacific Sky]] - a P&O cruise ship which was sold in [[May]], [[2006]] to Spanish company, Pullmantur Cruises. Pacific Sky lasted six (6) years in [[Australia]], her new owners will be renaming it the "Sky Wonder" and will base it in [[Europe]]. |

Pacific Dawn will begin sailing from Sydney on it's eight-night maiden voyage on October 26, 2007. It will then offer a selection of cruises to the South Pacific, including Christmas and New Year departures, plus a Melbourne Cup cruise.
