move of Kasabian (band)
I have reverted your move of Kasabian (band) to Kasabian. I do not disagree with the page being moved to that name, but the move was not done in the correct way. If a page is moved by cutting and pasting, it causes the edit history to be lost, see Help:Moving a page for more information. To move the page correctly, it is necessary to list Wikipedia:Requested moves. A page move was requested a year ago, but didn't happen due to a lack of consensus (I supported the move request then, and would support a request now). Note I have made Kasabian into a redirect to Kasabian (band) with a disambig note at the top. Thanks, Vclaw 12:03, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Welcome

Hello Duke toaster, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Featured article for December 25th

I noticed you have listed yourself in Category:Atheist Wikipedians. That said, you will probably be interested in my suggested featured article for December 25th: Omnipotence paradox. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-11-28 08:13

Oh yes, I am on that list :) Duke toaster 19:50, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

F1 portal featured article

The F1 portal (in which I assume you have some degree of interest, as your name is listed on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Formula_One) is intended to have a regular rotation of a 'featured article'. I've swapped a few in and out over the last couple of months, but I think it would be better if there were more of a community attempt at deciding this, proposals, votes, that kind of thing. So - why not pop over to Portal_talk:Formula_One#Suggestions_for_Featured_Article: and make a suggestion. Ta. 4u1e 00:27, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
