Saginaw Grant (born Morgan Saginaw Grant, July 20, 1936) is a Native American actor, traditional dancer and motivational speaker.[1] He was born at the Indian Hospital in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of the late Austin and Sarah (nee Murray) Grant. Saginaw is a member of the Sac & Fox Nation of Oklahoma. His mother's ancestry was from the Iowa and Otoe-Missouria tribes of Oklahoma. Saginaw has appeared in over a dozen movies and numerous television series. He appeared in the 2013 film The Lone Ranger, as Chief Big Bear.[2] He currently resides in the Southern California area.
