Wedding cabbage(Svadbarski kupus) is traditional Serbian dish.There main ingrediens are cabbage,pork,lamb,mutton,smoked bacon.[1] This Dish is usualy prepared in big crock.

Preparation

Cabbage is sliced into small cubes.In crock you put layer of bacon,layer of cabbage,layer of meat untill you have no more ingrediens left,then you put in water.Wait for water to boil then lower the temperature and slowly cook it for few hours.[2]

Cabbage festival

Cabbage festival is held annualy in Mrčajevci and there is also competition for best made wedding cabbage,winner gets golden pot,runner-up silver pot.Last festivale had over 100 000 visitors in 3 days.[3]
