Original Recipe Boneless is a boneless version of KFC's popular original recipe chicken,[1] introduced in April 2013. Like the boned counterpart, Original Recipe Boneless is breaded in a secret seasoning mix of 11 herbs and spices and fried in a pressure cooker. The chicken is made of boneless and skinless chicken breast, which is freshly prepared like other KFC products.
Advertising
KFC's Original Recipe Boneless chicken is highly promoted with the slogan "I Ate The Bones!", notifying that people should eat boneless chicken rather than bone-in chicken. If people ate chicken wings and they accidentally ate the bones, the advertising campaign can be humorous.
