WGIG (1440 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Brunswick, Georgia, USA, the station serves the Brunswick area. The station is owned by Qantum Communications Corporation, through subsidiary Qantum of Brunswick License Company, LLC, and features programming from CBS Radio News and ABC Radio .[1]
History
The station was assigned the call letters WBGA on 1983-09-15. On 1987-08-29, the station changed its call sign to the current WGIG.[2]
