Edits on U.S. Route 66 in California

CoolAngrybirds, Welcome to wikipedia! I appreciate the effort to update the article U.S. Route 66 in California and agree this article needs work. One thing to keep in mind, the California portion of the highway was decommissioned in 1964, with some signage remaining until the 1970's. However, many of the highways listed in both the major intersections and infobox are listed with their modern designations that did not exist at the time. For example, the State Route 110 (California)) designation did not exist during the U.S. 66 era. The asphalt was there, but the highway had a different number at the time (SR-11 in this case).

What we need to find is a detailed map of Southern California from the late 1950's or early 1960's to make this section accurate (note for the national U.S. Route 66 article we found a 1947 road atlas to use). Either that or advise the reader that this guide is using modern designations and contains anachronisms. Just like in the movie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events where cell phones, remote control power door locks, steam locomotives and reel to reel tape players all exist in harmony, even though in the real world these are technologies from different eras). Recent article creations

I redirected "U.S. Route 31 Business in Michigan ‎" to Business routes of U.S. Route 31 in Michigan, which already has all of them listed. Also, there is no M-128, and there never has been, so unless you find an actual source for such a thing, administrators will keep deleting the article as a hoax.
