Blundellsands & Crosby railway station is situated in the town of Crosby, Sefton, Merseyside, England. It also serves the adjacent town of Blundellsands. It is situated on the Northern Line of the Merseyrail network.

History

Blundellsands opened in 1848 as an intermediate station on the Liverpool, Crosby and Southport Railway. It became part of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in 1904, who took over from the LCSR. Subsequently, with the advent of British Rail in 1948, it became part of the Merseyrail Network's Northern Line.

Services

Trains run to either Southport or Liverpool Central and Hunts Cross at 15 minute frequencies Monday-Saturday daytime. During the evenings and on summer Sundays, trains run to Southport and Liverpool Central every 15 minutes, but every 30 minutes to Hunts Cross.
