In 2011 she competed in Miss Vermont America and did not not make top 5. In 2012 she placed first runner up at the Miss Vermont America pageant to Chelsea Ingram (as Miss Southern Vermont 2012) and then went on to represent Vermont at the National Sweetheart Pageant in Hoopeston, IL later in the year. The following year she placed second runner up to Jeanelle Achee as Miss Vermont Sweetheart 2012. In April of 2014, she placed first runner up in Miss Vermont America to Lucy Edwards.
