Karl-Herbert Scheer (June 19, 1928 in Frankfurt – September 15, 1991) was a German science fiction writer who wrote under the pen name K. H. Scheer.

He created the long-running science fiction series "ZBV".

In 1961, together with Walter Ernsting, he created the Perry Rhodan series. He wrote over 70 of the novels in the series and served as the draft author for the first 647 installments.[1]
