Jackson Merrett (born 27 February 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer, currently playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is the older brother of his teammate Zach Merrett.[1]

Early life

Merrett was drafted by Essendon with pick 31 in the 2011 National Draft. He made his debut against Collingwood at the Melbourne Cricket Ground[2] in Round 23 of the 2012 AFL season.
