Jackson Merrett (born 27 February 1993) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is the older brother of his teammate Zach Merrett.[1] He was drafted by Essendon with the 31st overall selection in the 2011 national draft. He made his debut against Collingwood at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in round 23, 2012.[2]
