==K call letter==

Why does this station have a K call latter. Why not W? It started out in Chicago which is also east of the Mississippi so even there it should've had a W call letter

This article briefly had the correct title, KYW. It was then moved to KYW (AM), which was not arguably incorrect, leaving a disambiguation page behind. Then someone moved it to the current title, which is clearly wrong. It should be moved back to one of its (correct) previous titles. 18.26.0.18 00:30, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

As a Philadelphian, I personally think the disambiguation is a good idea. It's true the radio station and the TV station are one in the same, however, outside the area, many may not know this.

And I can't believe someone didn't know what the callsign meant. --DodgerOfZion 06:55, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move

KYW (AM) appears to be the correct name based on the FCC database. This is the dab format where KYW-AM would be used if that was the FCC assigned name. I don't like this distinction, but that is the current policy. Vegaswikian 20:01, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
