Consider making the first step to getting started a review of the rules, even if the person already created an account. The fading of memories caused by time isn't something we have control of. It's an autonomic process of the brain. I really don't want someone else to have to go through what I did yesterday unless they are deliberately, knowingly spamming. Then I agree, it's well deserved. File permission problem with File:Le Zebre Book Cover, Philip Schram.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Le Zebre Book Cover, Philip Schram.jpg, which you've attributed to (Book Cover). I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 20:42, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Cafe Barbera
On 5 February 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Cafe Barbera, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the first Cafe Barbera coffeehouse was established in 1870 in Southern Italy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Cafe Barbera. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Speedy deletion nomination of Barbera Coffee Company
Hello Writingasaghost,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Barbera Coffee Company for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. —swpbT 17:21, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
AfC notification: Draft:Barbera Caffe Co. has a new comment
If I could figure out how to delete the draft, I would. Instructions for how to do things on Wikipedia are very confusing.Writingasaghost (talk) 03:41, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Sockpuppet investigation
Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ConteRaff, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

I'm a simple writer, and I've never heard of ConteRaff. You'll find I haven't been very active on Wikipedia, because it's not the main type of writing I do. However, once in a while I work with a company who wants a Wikipedia page that is written properly. My account has not been hijacked, and I only have one account. I've had it since maybe 2009, and you'll see almost no activity on it. In fact, I'm not even sure I'm doing this "talk" thing right. Writingasaghost (talk) 03:48, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Barbera Coffee Company
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Barbera Coffee Company, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. for (;;) (talk) 13:06, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- I've also nominated Cafe Barbera for deletion. Both articles are nominated under G4 (an article that's been discussed and deleted before under whatever title) and G5 (created by a sockpuppet or meatpuppet of a blocked user). The discussion for the G4 is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barbera Caffè, and your admission of being a meatpuppet is at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ConteRaff. for (;;) (talk) 13:17, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Barbera Caffe Logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Barbera Caffe Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:27, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

I'm swirling in circles here. I click on the link and went somewhere else. Please let me build my page. I see no way to save into a temporary place, and I've been in chat trying to figure out how to navigate this. Writingasaghost (talk) 03:37, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Your recent postings...
I note that you object to being called a meatpuppet and claim "I've never heard of ConteRaff". I'm sure ConteRaff is not their name in real life, just as Writingasaghost is not yours. The fact is that ConteRaff has been trying for over a year to publicise the Barbera coffee businesses and has hidden behind multiple article names and multiple usernames in order to do that. ConteRaff has been blocked as a result of that activity.
Your activity, despite your claim "I've never heard of ConteRaff", shows you're acting on their behalf to evade the blocks placed on them. Call it meatpuppetry or being a cat's paw, you're their pair of hands on a keyboard.
In your initial response you claimed, "I'm a simple writer", then later acknowledge paid-editing. If you sell your expertise you can't then claim a lack of expertise and expect to have that claim taken seriously. You've been paid to spam wikipedia. Enjoy the cash because you're not getting my sympathy.for (;;) (talk) 07:01, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- My deepest apologies. I was speaking as someone who was without knowledge. The egg deserves to be in my face.
- I do have a lack of expertise when it comes to Wikipedia, or I would never have been as open as I have been. My only claim to expertise here or with any of the people I have worked for in developing their Wikipedia pages was as a writer who has done some academic writing. I never claimed to be a Wikipedia expert. On each page, I did my best to follow the guidance offered when the article was rejected. I was sincerely doing my best to write a high-quality article.
- I had no idea I was being paid to spam Wikipedia. I admit I am naive. I spent half of my adult life in the third world. However, I still contend that I demanded of the two Barbera employees who reached out to me what the other editors demanded of me--adequate proof of the company's notoriety.
- If you keep the pages down, I will be obligated to return the money, which wasn't all that much, yet will cause me considerable hardship. I'm not one of those people who takes a client's money and laughs my way to the bank. I don't expect your sympathy. I only ask you to consider that a person can do the wrong thing due to ignorance, with no malice intended. I'm totally humiliated.Writingasaghost (talk) 13:43, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
