Yoga Dandasana is an Asana. It is translated as Yogic Staff Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "yoga" meaning "to unite", "danda" meaning "stick" or "staff", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2]

Benefits and Cautions

This advanced yoga pose open up the inside of the hips, and stretches the lower back.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have hip, knee, ankle or lower back injuries.[1][2]
