The Chineja is a 63 km (39 mi) long right tributary of the river Prut in Romania.[1] It discharges into the Prut near Giurgiulești, on the border with Moldova. It flows through the towns and villages Berești, Târgu Bujor, Foltești, Tămăoani, Frumușița, Tulucești and Vânători.
