The 2016 Trophée de France is the fourth of six events in the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a series of senior-level invitational competitions. It will take place November 11–13, 2016 in Paris, France. Medals will be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters will also earn points toward qualifying for the 2016–17 Grand Prix Final.
The competition, known as the Trophée Éric Bompard since 2004, lost its title sponsor in the summer of 2016 due to a lack of communication from the French Federation of Ice Sports.[1]
Entries
The ISU published the preliminary assignments on June 30, 2016.[2][3][4][5]
