Lichen and Catawba?

...the lichen and Catawba growing near the summit...

Obviously this doesn't refer to Catawba Indians, but what does it refer to? Catalpa trees? Seems unlikely. Catawba grape vines? Even less likely. Help the poor reader understand. — ℜob C. alias ÀLAROB 23:27, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]


catawba is a type of rhododendron bush, a relative of azalea. very common around here. named after the indian tribe Hillhippy (talk) 07:48, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
