Andrew is married to Anna Kennedy, a Counsellor/Psychotherapist specialising in children and adolescents based in Rutland. The Kennedys offer musical groups workshops to those affected by performance anxiety.

Andrew Kennedy (born 26 May 1977) is an English tenor and singing teacher at two of the country’s leading schools.[1]

Kennedy was born in Ashington, Northumberland, England. He was a chorister at Durham Cathedral, attended Uppingham School, and then a Choral Scholar at King's College, Cambridge. Further study at the Royal College of Music was followed by a place on the Vilar Young Artists programme at the Royal Opera House.

He won 1st prize at the Jackdaws Vocal Award in 1999 (now called the Maureen Lehane Vocal Awards)[2] and from 2005–2007 he was a member of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme. In 2005, he won the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Rosenblatt Recital Prize.[3] In 2006, he received a Borletti Buitoni Trust Award.

Andrew was represented by Hazard Chase until 2017.
