Duchess of Devonshire Catherine Hoskins was born in 1700 and died in 1777. She is the daughter of John Hoskins of Oxted 1640-1717 and Catherine Hale 1673-1703.

Catherine Hoskins Duchess of Devonshire is the daughter of John Hoskins (1640-1717) and Catherine Hale (1673-1703)

On 27 March 1718 she married William_Cavendish,_3rd_Duke_of_Devonshire son of William Cavendish, 2nd Duke of Devonshire and the Hon. Rachel Russell. They had seven children:


Her married name became Cavendish. After her marriage, Catherine Hoskins was styled as Duchess of Devonshire on 4 June 1729.

Catherine Hoskins is the 6th Great grandmother of HRH Queen Elizabeth ii
