I nearly choked when I read this sentence.

"thus the common saying "from soup to nuts", meaning from beginning to end"

I have never once heard this saying in my life, was this a common saying in the 15th century or something?!

Common saying?!

I nearly choked when I read this sentence.

"thus the common saying "from soup to nuts", meaning from beginning to end"

I have never once heard this saying in my life, was this a common saying in the 15th century or something?!
