Plot synopsis

Bugs meets Nero

A circus is being set up just above Bugsy's rabbit hole, causing much noise and vibration. Bugs comes to the surface to see what's going on, riding an elevator that makes twists and turns. He comes up in the middle of a lion's cage. The rest of the cartoon is one gag after another of Bugs trying to escape the lion, whom Bugs refers to as "Nero" throughout the episode. Bugs finally defeats the lion by tricking him into a human cannonball's cannon and touching it off. The two close the cartoon with the stunned and wobbly lion inadvertently doing a hula while Bugs plays a ukelele.

Trivia

  • Different end music played over the end title of this episode, as it may have been recycled from Porky Pig's drum ending card circa 1942.
