Rasmus Sandin (born 7 March 2000) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the first-round, 29th overall, by the Maple Leafs in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Sandin has previously played for Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Playing career
At 16 years old, Sandin began his major junior career in 2016 playing for Brynäs IF at the J20 level. He was selected by the Sault Ste.
