The Quebrada del Barro Formation is a geological formation of the Marayes-El Carrizal Basin in San Juan Province, Argentina. The formation underlies the Los Riscos Formation and overlies the Carrizal Formation.[1]

Its fossils date back to the Late Triassic epoch of the Triassic period.[2] Part of the formation may be made into a provincial park following the discovery of the fossils of Ingentia, a giant dinosaur.[3]
