Fast & Furious: Spy Racers is an upcoming American animated web television series based on the film series of the same name set to premiere on Netflix. The series is executive produced by Tim Hedrick, Bret Haaland, Vin Diesel, and Chris Morgan. Hedrick and Haaland are also expected to act as showrunners.

Plot

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers. "The protagonist of the series will be Tony Toretto, Dom's cousin. The latter will be recruited by a government agency together with his friends with the task of infiltrating one of the most prestigious underground races run by a criminal organization determined to conquer the world".[1]

Production

On April 23, 2018, it was announced that Netflix had given the production a series order. Executive producers are set to include Tim Hedrick, Bret Haaland, Vin Diesel, and Chris Morgan. Hedrick and Haaland are also expected to act as showrunners.[2] Productions companies involved with the series include DreamWorks Animation. The series comes after the acquisition of DreamWorks Animation by NBCUniversal which includes a first look at DreamWorks Animation animated series based on Universal Pictures film properties.[1][3][4][5][6]
