Mian Yar Muhammad Kalhoro (Template:Lang-sd) and Mian Din Muhammad Kalhoro were sons of Mian Nasir Muhammad Kalhoro[1] who was succeeded by his elder son Mian Deen Muhammad in 1792 AD[2]. Later, Mian Yar Muhammad Kalhoro became chieftain of Kalhora clan[3] after his elder brother Mian Din Muhammad Kalhoro Kalhoro who was imprisoned and killed in Multan jail by Prince Muiz-ud-Din Muhammad, the governor of Multan in 1700 CE. He was founder of Kalhora dynasty in Sindh.[4] In 1701 CE, he became ruler of Sindh,[5][6] and ruled up to 1719 CE.[7] The tomb of Mian Yar Muhammad is sited at one kilometer from Khudabad towards west.[8][9] He was pinier of actual rule of Kalhora clan in Sindh.[10] Mian Yar Muhammad Kalhoro had constructed Jamia Mosque Khudabad.[11]
