Naan Yen Pirandhen (Template:Lang-en) is a 1972 Indian Tamil language film directed by M. Krishnan, starring M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role, with K. R. Vijaya, Kanchana, M. N. Nambiar, Nagesh and Major Sundarrajan. It is a remake of the Telugu film Bratuku Teruvu. Actor Kamal Haasan worked under K.Thangappan as his dance assistant in this movie.

Production
Naan Yen Pirandhen is a remake of the Telugu film Bratuku Teruvu.[2] It was the only film to feature MGR in a family-oriented role.[3]

Reception
Randor Guy wrote in The Hindu, "Despite a super star cast and good performances by MGR, the two heroines and Nagesh, the film did not do as well as expected, and ran for just 10 weeks, in stark contrast to the thumping success of the Telugu and Hindi versions."[2]
