Yazdi Naoshriwan Karanjia is the Gujarati theatreperson based in Surat and widely noted as one of the doyens of Parsi theatre.^[1]^[2]^[3] He was awarded with Padma Shri, fourth highest civilian award of India, for his services in the field of arts.^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]
