Gantt is a town in Covington County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 222.[3]
Geography
Gantt is located in northern Covington County at 31°24′27″N 86°29′1″W / 31.40750°N 86.48361°W (31.407503, -86.483577).[4] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.69 square miles (1.8 km2), of which 0.66 square miles (1.7 km2) is land and 0.039 square miles (0.1 km2), or 4.89%, is water.[3] Gantt is located along the west bank of the Conecuh River, at the dam forming Gantt Lake.

The racial makeup of the town was 75.93% White, 21.99% Black or African American, 0.83% Native American, 0.41% from other races, and 0.83% from two or more races. 0.83% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
