Fresh Kid Uganda (real name; Patrick Sennyonjo) is a Ugandan rapper, musician and artist[1]. Fresh Kid was born in 2012 to Patrick Sennyonjo in Kasana, Luweero district, central Uganda[2].
Education
Fresh Kid got a bursary from Rajiv Ruparelia[3] to study at Kampala Parents School[2]. Before that, Fresh Kid was studying at St Agnes Junior School in Kawanda. As of 2020[update], Fresh Kid is in Primary three.[2]
Music Career
According to Fresh Kid’s first manager; Francis Kamoga, Fresh kid recorded his first song ‘Banteeka’ in late 2018. As of January 2020, the rapper has recorded 5 songs. Fresh Kid won the Best international music video award of the ‘Bambi’ song at the fourth Carolina Music Video Awards[4]. Manager Francis claims to have found Fresh Kid a rural village miming some songs, brought him to the city and started to nurture his music career and to study too. Manager Francis claims to have been paying his school fees till Fresh Kid got a bursary from Rajiv Ruparelia to study at Kampala Parents School[5][6]l. Manager Francis signed Fresh Kid under De Texas Entertainment[7]. Fresh Kid's parents fell out with Manager Francis over failure to respect the contractual duties which made Fresh Kid to move from De Texas Entertainment to MC Events[8].

Controversies
The Ugandan Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi warned Fresh Kid from performing during school hours since according to Ugandan Labour Law ‘’no-one under 18 should work[10]’’.
Uganda’s constitution Article 59 clause 56 line 8 restricts young children below 18 from being used for any financial benefits.[7]
Nakiwala stated that Fresh Kid would be taken to Juvenile prison if he disobeyed this law.[1]
