ArbCom 2018 election voter message

Hello, Bamnamu. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Regarding you edit in North Korea

First of all, you must admit the fact that North Koreans don't participate in wikipedia, and most of the materials that deal with Korea(even North Korean content) is translated in South Korean hangul, not North Korean hangul. I'm not on any side(either South or North) of Korea, but we should admit that 'North' is literally translated as '북' in both South and North Korea. The word 한 is different as North Korea does not call Korea as 한국. I don't mind if you reverted what I have put in, but just remember, 북한 is used in South Korea, almost 100% case except for diplomacy, when we seldom use the term '북측'(North Side) as well. Cheers. How about putting 북한(South Korean convention) and 북조선(North Korean convention) at the same time? Looking at the page of Mount Kumgang, there is a Korean word(금강산) besides English. What do you think? B2V22BHARAT (talk) 21:20, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that North Korea calls 'Korea' as 조선인민공화국, or simply 조선, while South Korea calls 'Korea' as 한국. That's why there's a confusion when referring to North Korea: South: 북 + 한

North: 북 + 조선.

Hey Bamnamu. I noticed you have edited the Prostitution in South Korea page. It's been "locked to protect from vandalism" but I've noticed a lot of opinionated and racist content like "Many Korean men actively seek out Russian women because they satisfy not only their desire for dominance over exotic females but also the latent psychological need to overcome their complex." Or saying that South Korean men are huge child sex tourists while providing links that don't even mention that or providing a source from a specifically opinionated article.
