Gregor Maria Franz Hanke (born July 2, 1954 in Elbersroth) is a German Roman Catholic bishop of Eichstätt.
Life
Hanke studied Roman catholic theology and philosophy at Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, in London, Oxford, Würzburg and Rome. On 10 September 1983 he became priest. On 14 October 2006 Hanke was appointed as bishop of Eichstätt.[1]
