Crumenulopsis Sororia ;>Karst.(Grove et Karst) syn.>Crumenula S.; Causes Stem or trunk cancer on Pinus Contorta, Pinus Nigra P. Sylvestris & P. Cembra. Symptoms are; Resin flow and later bark parts falling off in plates. The wounded spots don't heal, Bark and wood turn black (cancer), with spots with Apothecies (15mm large) and smaller black Pycnidia, with finger-shaped conidia spores. The tree will die off. [1]
