Anoushka Lucas
Anoushka Lucas is a Singer-songwriter, Actress and Composer from London, England. She began releasing music in 2009 after graduating from Oxford University.
Biography
Career
Anoushka released her first self-titled EP in 2009. [1]
In 2013 she won a contest to perform at Love Supreme Festival beating out hundreds of applicants looking to perform at the new event alongside headliners Brian Ferry and Jools Holland[2]
Anoushka's career in theatre began writing music for Ché Walker in productions of Klook's Last Stand and later The Etienne Sisters at Theatre Royal Stratford East [3]
In 2016, Anoushka was cast as Mary Magdalene in Regents Park Open Air Theatre's production of Jesus Christ Superstar[4]
In February 2017 Anoushka performed live on BBC Introducing performing her single Dark Soul.[5] The single featured on her debut album of the same name with production credits from Martin Terefe and Oskar Winberg
She began acting in 2019 in the production of Chiaroscuro at The Bush Theatre [6]
