Rajdev Kumar (born 09 August 1985) is an Indian film producer.[1] He is the chairperson of Konark Films, a motion picture production company.[2]
Early life
Rajdev Kumar has been passionate to modernise the concept of film making since his college days and after completing his graduation started focussing on the application of updated VFX technology.[3] After struggling for few days, he made an entry into the film industry as a VFX technologist and this has given him sufficient comfort to of-late become a full-fledged editor.[4] His ultimate target was to gain knowledge in each department of production so as to independently produce films of his own creativity.[5] The establishment of Konark Films is one such example.
Career
He is a commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai. His career started in the film industry as a VFX technologist and this was possible only because of his focuses on introducing something unique in VFX for better likeable viewing. After a brief struggle, he could promote himself to the next level as a professional editor. With due dedication and hard work, he got good recognition from the senior producers and directors.
Career building in the film industry has been one of his motives and finally, he could succeed in his attempts and ultimately became a Chairperson in 2016 of a motion picture production company called Konark Films. Rajdev Kumar in modern days film making plays a major role in producing qualitative movies of international standard and the film fraternity welcomes him with lots of support.
Personal life
He was born into a higher middle class well educated family in Mumbai. His father was a renowned businessman.
