Intel Ignite is a global corporate startup program for early-stage startups launched in 2019 by Intel.[1] it provides hands-on mentorship, resources, and opportunities to support startups growth. The program debuted in Tel Aviv and is featured to broaden to the United States and Germany.[2][3]
History
Intel Ignite was founded in 2019 In Tel Aviv to assist early-stage startups to develop variety of technologies, mostly in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous systems.[4]
Intel Ignite global program is run by Zack Weisfeld, a former global head of Microsoft for Startups, and Ranny Nachmias is in charge of its Israeli chapter.[5][6]
As of December 2020, the program completes 3 batches, while the companies in the third cohort raised over $5 million.
In the first quarter of 2021, the program will expand to Austin, Texas and Munich, Germany.[7]
Structure
The startup program offers 12 weeks intense curricula for early-stage startups who raised at least 1$million-dollar funds. The program includes mentorship, a customized growth plan, and access to customers and investors. Moreover, it additionally provides guidance by professionals from Intel and its network.[7]
Intel takes no equity from the program members and does not include any financing, but its benefits bundle for each startup surpasses $500,000.[8]
Each batch includes 10-12 startup companies from different sectors, primarily artificial intelligence (AI), IoT and cybersecurity.[1]
