Masahiro Murakami (村上 雅洋, Murakami Masahiro, born 7 September 1958) is a Japanese business executive, who is on the board of Japan Radio, New Japan Radio and Nisshinbo Brake and the president & representative director at Nisshinbo Holdings.[1][2][3][4][5]

Career

Masahiro Murakami was born on 7 September 1958.[6] After graduation from Shiga University,[7] he joined Nisshin Spinning Co., Ltd., predecessor of Nisshinbo Holdings, in 1982.[6] He moved up through the ranks to the level of executive officer in 2008, director & executive officer in 2010, director & managing executive officer in 2012, director & senior managing executive officer in 2015, representative director & senior managing executive officer in 2016, representative director & vice president in 2018 and representative director & president of Nisshinbo Holdings in 2019.[6][7]

He is also on the board of Japan Radio, New Japan Radio and Nisshinbo Brake and serves as a vice president of Fashion Industry SCM Promotion Association.[1][8][9]

In 2020, he became the chairman of Japan Spinners' Association.[10]
