Specifying that the artist list is also historical, not merely current; should include artists no longer signed to label. Internal note added in case visual/auditory artists should be separated into subsections.

Iamsound (stylized IAMSOUND) is a Los Angeles based entertainment company founded by Niki Roberton. IAMSOUND comprises a creative and marketing studio[1], visual artist management firm[2], and independent record label.[3]

Record Label

IAMSOUND launched as a record label in 2007, and released albums from artists including Florence and the Machine, Charli XCX[4], Lord Huron,[5][6] Banks, and Salem, before expanding into visual artist management and running a creative studio. In 2010, the label released a series of vinyl and digital singles called the L.A. Collection, featuring Los Angeles-based musicians through a singles club.[7] In 2019, they signed artist Mk.gee.[8]

Creative & Marketing Studio

In 2012, IAMSOUND collaborated with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles for an event called PLAY MOCA, which showcased artists including Salem, IO Echo, Zola Jesus, Active Child, Cults, and Lord Huron.[9]

They produced a concert series titled "Artist Connection" with Pitchfork for American automobile brand Ford in 2014. There were performances from MS MR, Classixx, and Guards.[10]

IAMSOUND's creative and marketing studio won a 2019 Clio Gold Music award for its Spotify In-House "Billie Eilish Experience" event[11]. The company also partnered with Dropbox and Getty to present "Bridge-s" at the Getty Center Museum from November 16-17, 2019 for Solange.[12][13]

In 2018, IAMSOUND's artist Whoopi installed hand-built table top arcade games in the House of Vans London.[14][better source needed]
