ROGUE INITIATIVE STUDIOS

Rogue Initiative is a full spectrum game development studio and digital media technology company based in Los Angeles, California. The company develops software, games, and narrative productions including the titles Crowe: The Drowned Armory and Agent Emerson VR.

History Founded in 2015, Rogue Initiative is led by industry veterans, including alumni from Electronic Arts, Activision Studios, Amblin Entertainment, DreamWorks Animation, New Regency, and Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Pictures Group. [1] In 2016, Rogue announced that Michael Bay and Lynda Obst had joined the company as strategic advisors and production partners. [2] In May of 2018, Rogue signed a film, TV and immersive content development partnership with Nonny de la Peña’s virtual, augmented and mixed reality content studio Emblematic Group.[3] One year later in 2017, Rogue’s Co-Founder and Chief Production Officer, Cathy Twigg, was named to Variety’s 10 Virtual Reality Innovators to Watch list.[4]

Games & Content Crowe: The Drowned Armory A VR cinematic game experience set in an original fantasy / science fiction universe, Rogue released Crowe: The Drowned Armory in 2017 on the Oculus and Steam VR platforms.

Agent Emerson Also produced by Sergey Selyanov (CTB Film Company), and the project’s writer / director Ilya Rozhkov (Serein), the VR film Agent Emerson was released in 2019 on the Oculus, Steam VR, and Viveport platforms.
