Ranikot Fort

Hello. So apparently you reverted my changes to the Ranikot Fort page, where I basically corrected the spelling of Ranikot Fort which was misspelled in some places as "Rani kort forte". I also corrected a translation to "The great wall of Sindh" from "The Great Wall of Pakistan". Which was removed altogether. • Hi, I noticed your edits as you broke the image, buy 'correcting' a filename. You also changed the title of the unesco.org reference from what it actually is. I then removed the "The great wall of Sindh" / "The Great Wall of Pakistan" as it was unsourced and had been marked as such since 2018 - If you have source please feel free to add back with the reference. • Hi Zacharyb366 all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS) - in this case see Wikipedia:Notability (people). So the subjects own website, book links, own church page are not independent. Also the inline external links to Amazon and Audible look promotional rather than encyclopedic content about the subject. • Hi Adman511 the first thing to understand is this is an encyclopedic and not for promotion and should be written from a Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Currently it reads just like marketing. Secondly all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). You only have one source, and although not trivial it is an interview which apart from the first paragraph appears to be full direct quotes so not independent. • Hi Kwiefling did you just add the CC BY note to the top of that source or did I miss if before? Also see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the general topic covering this area. However this just moves onto anther issue... Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia not a place for people to publish their own work. Content here should be backed by reliable source, and to be published all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). So to be accepted you would at least need to add the sources to show notability, and the content was verifiable See Wikipedia:Verifiability. Note that I didn't actually read the content for other issues (i.e. is it neutral encyclopedic content) however the first sentence reads more like a blog/essay than an encyclopedic article on "Catalytic Mechanisms". • Hi Kwiefling I would say just add what sources you can and re-submit. Note that although preferred sources do not have to be online (or freely available online) so if it has been written about in magazines, newspapers, journals etc those can be still be sources. • The visual editor will now use MediaSearch to find images. You can search for images on Commons in the visual editor when you are looking for illustrations. This is to help editors find better images. [1]

• Editing a timeline might have removed all text from it. This was because of a bug and has been fixed. You might need to edit the timeline again for it to show properly. [3]

• Hi CommanderWaterford unfortunately unlike some other projects AfC is not currently tracked that well. There used to be a bot tracking submissions but the owner stopped running it. There was also User:Primefac/AFCStats but most is not updated now. I use Quarry for some stats such as reviews in the last 24hours/week/month and daily number of reviews (see https://quarry.wmflabs.org/KylieTastic). I keep meaning to find time to write a bot to do tracking, but at the moment have little time and no energy for more coding (as it's my day job)... maybe one day.
