How does a chapter entitled: "Combined PET-MRI Scanner" (page 162 of the thesis) not demonstrate a mention of the combination of the two modalities in 1991? If you read the section you will see that it describes designs of PET-MRI similar to the ones first built. Why don't you want to give credit where it belongs to Mr. Raylmam? As I said before, we are a group of retired UofM faculty that monitor the web to be sure that former Michigan students/faculty receive deserved credit. This webpage is on our monitor list. As far as secondary references go, we have checked and virtually none of the other references on this page have secondary references. In fact, the ref. 2 is to a poorly written chapter in a book, not what one would call a scientific reference. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Loch Lomond distillery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arrochar. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-free image use

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Template:Country data African Union, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:40, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Technetium (99mTc) sestamibi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sensitivity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Re: OP wiki page

Hi Beevil:

My name is Grant Palermo, the Chief Executive Officer of Olivia Palermo's company.

With respect to the changes that we have made over the past few days, those have been on behalf of Ms. Palermo and at her request. I would kindly ask you to please not reverting those changes as we are trying to clean up the Wiki page. The Wiki page has inaccurate facts and therefore we are trying to rectify them accordingly.

Kind regards, Grant Palermo — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmogroup (talkcontribs) 22:20, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Pmogroup:Hi Grant,
I'm afraid if you are who you say you are, you have a conflict of interest and are acting as a paid editor. You will need to disclose that on your user page, and on the talk pages of any articles you have edited (e.g. Talk:Olivia Palermo). It is strongly suggested that you do not edit articles directly and instead request edits you would like to see made, on the talk page, as described in the above links. I have also left a message on your talk page with some relevant links. If your username represents your organisation, it should also be changed, as usernames are supposed to be for individuals, see here. Hope this and the links on your talk page are helpful. I believe the user, Richard Fleming, who was (at least) temporarily banned from Sestamibi page is editing again under different name.

Hi - I am not terribly familiar with Wikipedia etiquette, but as you appear to have recently edited the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technetium_(99mTc)_sestamibi I thought you might be interested in these comments.

A while ago (and I think you were involved then too), an individual, Dr. Richard Fleming, was blocked from editing this page on a nuclear medicine (sestamibi) as he repeatedly attempted to insert some self-promotion material and violated some Wikipedia standards. I think he may have been permanently banned after trying to still edit this page while logged off. Not sure how that all works. The old user page and some of this history can be read at the Sestamibi link above or at his old user page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:RM_Fleming,_MD

I kind of keep an eye on his internet activity and saw today that he appears to have added some material to a different page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_analysis_techniques_for_fraud_detection) and came to take a look. I believe Dr. Fleming is now using a different username, Juleslav (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Juleslav). His material on that other page, has similar problems that were dealt with in April(?) on the sestamibi page. At its root it is self-promotion (Dr. Fleming has published a paper in a low quality (aka "predatory") journal that he is linking to), and the other material are related to a court case where he plead guilty to felony fraud for faking a clinical trial. He has attempted to "relitigate" the arguments he made during multiple legal cases, all of which I believe he lost. All this background is covered succinctly here:https://retractionwatch.com/2018/11/13/a-convicted-felon-writes-a-paper-on-hotly-debated-diets-what-could-go-wrong/ I don't know how to prove to Wikipedia's standards that Juleslav is Dr. Fleming (or a close associate) other than I can't think of anyone else who would be promoting Dr. Fleming's views.

From what I understood from his previous efforts, I believe his editing of the "data analysis" page violates the Wikipedia COI guidelines and perhaps his new edits on the sestamibi page do too. I sent a note similar to this one to an editor at the "data analysis" page.

Anyway, I just thought an editor might want to take a look at what he's up to now to see if it meets your standards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThatsRegrettable (talkcontribs) 03:54, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@ThatsRegrettable: Hi, thanks for letting me know! I'm not particularly up to speed with the right wikipedia policies/actions myself. I think the best way to get someone more knowledgable, and with the appropriate tools to verify if this is the same user, is to report them as a suspected sockpuppet. I'd suggest you file the report as you've identified this new account. The process is fairly well explained here Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations, but I used WP:Twinkle to slightly automate the process! Let me know if you'd rather not Beevil (talk) 10:29, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Proposing help for industrial x-ray inspection

Hi!

@Beevil: I noticed that you are very often editing pages about industrial x-ray inspection and medical physics. One funny thing is that I actually had to reference your image work multiple times in my master's thesis XD.
Anyway I wanted to see with you if you needed help with a bit of editing on the more industrial part of things and/or general applied radiation stuff.
If you're interested we could share a list of the most pressing issues here and keep track of them over time.
Thank you for your work! -- A physicist friend -- Feynstein (talk) 04:12, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @PhysiqueUL09: and thanks! I'm no expert, particularly in the industrial side of things, and mostly just edit on a whim when I come across things I think I could improve. I'm happy to share stuff, but looking at your edits and background it seems like you're well set and doing good work already! Beevil (talk) 11:09, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Beevil: Thank you for your answer. I wrote this message when I was not familiar with Wikipedia editing and I think I was mostly looking for advice. I had time to experiment a bit now and I agree I'm set! It was a pleasure for me talking to you finally, as I said I referenced your work already. I would have preferred if it could have been with your real name, since it's going to Library and Archives Canada, but I'm not sure how we can do that privately here. If you can find a way, just tell me and I'll add it in the final version, my evaluation jury is late...So there's still time to slip it in if you want. Thanks again for your answer, and hope to talk to you soon. PhysiqueUL09 (talk) 15:23, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PhysiqueUL09: Great glad to hear it. I appreciate it but I'm happy it just being my username, I don't know which image it was but most of what I've uploaded has been revisions of other people's work anyway! Beevil (talk) 08:34, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
