The BossHoss is a 7-piece band from Berlin, Germany who specialize in covering pop, rock and hip hop songs in country style. Examples of the songs they have covered are "Hot in Herre" by Nelly, "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Hey Ya!" by Outkast. The group incorporates the typical cowboy-clichés: wearing stetson hats and tank tops, displaying whiskey bottles and screaming Yeehaw!. The band refers to their music style as "Country Trash Punk Rock".

On April 28th, 2006, the Boss Hoss released their first single entitled "I Say A Little Prayer" from their album "Rodeo Radio", which itself was released on May 19th, 2006. Half of the songs on "Rodeo Radio" were original songs composed by the Boss Hoss.
When their second album "Rodeo Radio" was released, their first album "Internashville Urban Hymns" re-entered the charts and became gold status at the end of May 2006, with more than 100.000 copies sold.
