Ihor Ivanovych Umansky (born January 9, 1975, in the city of Pripyat, Kyiv Oblast) is a Ukrainian economist, politician, acting Minister of Finance of Ukraine after the resignation of Viktor Pynzenyk in the second government of Yulia Tymoshenko.[1] Minister of Finance of Ukraine from March 4 to March 30, 2020. Candidate of Economic Sciences.[2]
Biography
In 1997, Umansky graduated from Kyiv National Economic University. Candidate of Economic Sciences (2012).[3]
He held positions in the Ministry of Economy, the National Bank and UkrTransNafta.[4]
From 2008 to 2010, he served as First Deputy Minister of Finance.[4]
From 2014 to 2015, he again worked as First Deputy Minister of Finance.[5][6]
From 2016 to 2019, Umansky was an adviser to the President of Ukraine.[7][8]
Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (2020).[9]
